Jetsada Jitsawad

Jetsada Jitsawad ( Thai: เจษฎา จิต สวัสดิ์; * August 5, 1980 in Bangkok ) is a Thai football player at the position of a defender. He plays for the Muang Thong United in the Thai Premier League and is the captain of the team.

Career

His career began Jetsada in the youth team of FC Thailand Tobacco Monopoly. From 1998 to 2000 he played for the youth, before he joined the seniors team. By 2008, he played for the club and played a total of 142 games. He won with the club in 2005, the Thai championship and won the Super Cup in the same year. But first international experience at club level were denied him after winning the championship. The club was excluded from the AFC Champions League 2006. At the end of his career, in 2009, he joined the club and plays the first time since then for Muang Thong United. He was appointed captain of the team and with his experience he was able to win in the history of the club to help the first championship. After the season he was named best defender of the 2009 season.

The Career in the National Team of Thailand began for him in the U- 23rd He stood in the squad of U -23, which in 2001 the gold medal at the Southeast Asian Games won. A year later he was with the U -23 in the semifinals of the Asian Games. At the end the team finished 4th. In 2003 he was allowed to play for the first time the seniors. At the Asian Cup in 2004, he took part for the first time, the second time in 2007. During the same year, he was in the squad for the national team at the ASEAN Football Championship and reached the finals with the team. Under the new national coach Peter Reid, he found so far no more consideration. In 2007, he stood in the elf for the farewell match of Kiatisak Senamuang.
