Different now! was an Austrian boy band from February to November 2007, the style of music combined modern rock and pop music. She came from the third season of the talent show Star Mania, which aired from 2006 to 2007 in ORF 1. The band broke up on 14 November 2007 officially.
On February 16, 2007, she presented at the ORF radio station Ö3 their first single This moment ago.
Members
Falco De Jong Luneau ( born August 7, 1984 in Brand ( Vorarlberg) ) attended from the age of ten years, the music high school in Vorarlberg and is by profession a trained locksmith. His mother is Dutch. He also played for six years in a pop band as a drummer and guitarist and partly as a didgeridoo player. For a time he worked full time as a clerk in an insurance company.
In 2010 he won a competition at the Dutch radio station 538 and began a music career in the Netherlands. He currently lives in Leeuwarden in the Netherlands. 2013 he took part to the Euro Vision Song Contest at the Austrian decider.
Thomas " Tom" Neuwirth (born 6 November 1988) attended a fashion school to attend Star Mania. Even at a young age he plays saxophone and clarinet. Due to his participation in the band "different now" moved the formerly living in Styria Star Mania candidate to Vienna at the other band members. Since autumn 2007 he has been employed as a window dresser at Hennes & Mauritz.
At Star Mania he was beaten in the final Nadine Beiler. In 2011, he appeared as Conchita Wurst at the talent show The big chance to.
John "Johnny" K. Palmer (born 30 May 1984) is a hip hop dancer and Christian musicians on stage since he was thirteen. His songs he wrote himself Also, he was present at many festivals. Since summer 2007 he has worked as a dance teacher for hip hop.
He dropped out in eleventh place at Star Mania 2007.
ZERZA Martin (born 27 October 1989) is the youngest member of the boy band. Before Star Mania, he sang in his school band Borg formation in Carinthia. At Star Mania he reached the 6th place. After the dissolution of the band, he remained in Vienna and began an apprenticeship as a stylist.
Different now! show
From the end of March 2007 on the Austrian television station Puls TV and mobile offering 3Live! the reality soap different now! show aired. Every day has been increased by 15, 17 and 21 clock in the WG of the band members to give a glimpse into the lives of the former Star Mania participants. This show was discontinued for lack of success in August 2007.
Naming
It was originally planned, the band just now! to call, but since there were two other Austrian musical groups with this name, the four-member group had in different now! rename.
