Jim Borgman

James Mark Borgman ( born February 24, 1954 in Cincinnati, Ohio) is an American comic book artist and cartoonist.

Already on College began Borgman political cartoons to draw. From 1980, his drawings were then distributed by King Features Syndicate. In 1991 he was awarded the Pulitzer Prize for caricature. From 1994 to 1996 he was the surreal political comic strip Wonk City for The Washington Post. Since 1997 he is the signatory of Zits. The idea came from cartoonist Jerry Scott, who also provides the texts for them. The series was a worldwide success and was translated into eight languages.
