Jintara Poonlarp

Jintara Poonlarp or Poonlab ( Thai จินต หรา พูน ลาภ, pronunciation: [ ʨintàrǎ ː p ʰ u ː NLA ː p], RTGS transcription Chintara Phunlap; born March 12, 1971 in Moo Baan Chantun, District Kaset Wisai, Roi Et Province, Thailand) is one of the most famous Mor - Lam and Luk Thung - singers in Thailand. Her birth name was Tongbai Janlueang, but they changed it to Tongbai Poonlarp when her parents had registered their marriage. Jintara is her stage name. She is also known by her nickname Jin or Sao Sieng pin ( Thai สาว เสียง พิณ ). The second name means girl with the voice of an Isaan Guitar ( Phin ). By May 2005, she released 36 solo albums as well as many compilations. It started about the same amount Mor Lam and Luk Thung. Career

Jintara was born on March 12, 1971 at village Moo Baan Chan Thun, Kaset Wisai District, Roi Et province in the Isaan region in Thailand. As a child she loved to sing. The other villagers praised her voice and encouraged her to become a singer.

At 15, she joined the theater group Mek Khala in her home province of Roi Et. Some time later, she took part on the occasion of the annual silk festival in Khon Kaen in the singing competition. A DJ recognized her talent and made ​​the connection to her Grammy Music.

With their live show is every year from September to May on the road and had performances in Switzerland, Germany, USA, Hong Kong, Canada and Singapore. Jintara has a rough and shrill voice.
