Joanne Eccles

Joanne Eccles ( born February 16, 1989, Scotland) is a British World and European champion in vaulting.

Life

Since the age of eight Joanne Eccles exerts the vaulting. At the age of 9 years, she was inducted into the Scottish vaulting team and participated with this first time in 1999 in an international competition, the CVI in Saumur (France), in part. Since 2003, Eccles goes international as Einzelvoltigiererin. With the European Championship title in 2009 in Malmö Eccles was the first British woman who reached a medal at a Vaulting Championships. Her achievements are the world champion title in 2010 ( Lexington, Kentucky) and 2012 ( Le Mans); they do is still regarded as an internationally successful vaulter Britain. Your club is the club Wee County Vaulters in Scotland, which was founded in 2001 by her father John Eccles. This is also lunger her horse WH Bentley and Baroque. Together with her sister Hannah, who is also internationally successful Einzelvoltigiererin, it starts as a double. All disciplines taken together is 19 Eccles - time British national champion. Away from the vaulting she studied dentistry.
