The Jochspitze is a 2,232 m high mountain in the Allgäu Alps.

Geology

The Jochspitze has a peak structure from main dolomite, who sits on a pedestal of Lias marl spot.

Ascent

It is located south-southwest of Hornbachjochs and is this not a marked trail ( If security is required ) can be achieved. Another ascent leads from Hinterhornbach on the Kanz mountain and continue west on the Jochspitze. However, the transition from mountain to Kanz Jochspitze requires easy climbing in the first difficulty.
