Jodłów, Lower Silesian Voivodeship

Jodłów ( German Thandorf ) is a village in the south of the powiat Kłodzki in the Province of Lower Silesia in Poland. It belongs to the municipality Międzylesie ( Mittelwalde ), from which it is six kilometers east.

Geography

Jodłów located in Śnieżnik Mountains on the upper Glatzer Neisse, which flows below the 1145 m high rattling stones ( Trójmorski Wierch ). Neighboring locations are: Potoczek in the south, and Pisary Boboszów the southwest, Szklarnia in the west and Goworów and Michałowice in the northwest. History

Thandorf 1575 created on ausgerodetem Forstgrund and initially called fir village. It belonged to Habelschwerdter district in Glatzer country with which it shared the story of his political and religious affiliation. As a result of World War II Thandorf 1945 as almost all of Silesia was lost to Poland and was renamed Goworów. The German population was expelled. The new inhabitants were partly displaced persons from eastern Poland. By 1975 Jodłów belonged to Bystrzycki powiat. 1975-1998 it belonged to the province Wałbrzych.

Religious affiliation

Thandorf initially had no church of its own and was the parish to Schönfeld. Around 1590 built the then Lutheran inhabitants of Thandorf and Neißbach with permission of the landlords a church made ​​of wood.
