Joerg Kalt

Jörg Kalt ( born January 11, 1967 in Suresnes, France, † 1 July 2007) was a long year in Austria living and acting journalist, film director and screenwriter.

Life

Cold grew up in Zurich and Munich. Finally, at the University of Zurich, he began to study English literature and law. In 1991 he turned to the film and studied in directing the first two years at the School for Film and Television at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague, and from 1994 at the Vienna Film Academy at Peter Patzak. In addition, cold worked as a journalist and columnist, du, among other things for the Swiss magazine Moreover, cold worked on screenplays by Mirjam Unger, Antonin Svoboda or Barbara Albert.

With his films cold was quickly brought attention. The future through the night was honored at the Film Festival Max Ophüls Prize in Saarbrücken with the Jury Prize. Crash Test Dummies premiered at the Berlinale 2005 and opened the diagonal in Graz in the same year.

Jörg Kalt died in 2007 at the age of 40 years committed suicide.
