Life

From 1982 he had acting lessons in East Berlin, and later Acting courses in West Berlin, as well as appearances as a bit player in many DEFA feature films - most recently in The Architects ( 1990) - and several small roles in plays on Bertolt Brecht Berliner Ensemble theater. 1988-1989 produced, directed and starred in a one hour Joerg Stadler Independent feature film The spy (S / W, 16 mm) after an episode of Bertolt Brecht stage play Fear and Misery of the 3rd Reich. The film was sent to 1991 several times in the Open Channel Berlin ( OKB ) and paraded in Berlin alternative cinemas.

From 1991 to 1992 Stadler completed a study acting at the Michael Chekhov Studio in Berlin. In 1992 he went to class in method acting to London and now lives in New Cross Gate. Since 1993 he was occupied in British and American television productions repeated in the role of rigid Nazis. In 1998, he became internationally known for his role in Steven Spielberg's Oscar-winning anti-war film Saving Private Ryan.
