Johan Henrich Berlin

Johan Henrich Berlin (* 1741 in Trondheim, Norway, † 1807 in Trondheim, also erroneously known as Johan Heinrich Berlin), second son of Johan Daniel Berlin, was a Danish- Norwegian composer and organist.

He organized numerous public concerts in Trondheim, was co-founder of a musical society (Det Trondhjemske Musikaliske Selskab ) and also a highly regarded Orgelreparateur. In 1787 he joined his father's successor for the position of organist at the cathedral in Trondheim ( Nidaros Cathedral ) on. He composed, among others Symphonies, concertos, chamber music, sonatas, cantatas and one oratorio. Works Received: Two symphonies (both in C major ), a piano sonata and a Piano Sonatina (both in B flat major ), a Sonata a cembalo, Violino e Violoncello in E-flat major, a festive cantata (1787 ) and numerous dances.
