Johan Niemann

Johan Niemann (born 26 June 1977) is a Swedish musician. He is still active today with the bands Evergrey, The Murder of My Sweet, Mind's Eye and crash the system and played with the Swedish metal band Therion.

Career

On the advice of his music teacher Niemann learned at the age of eleven, playing the bass guitar. In high school, he studied improvisation and jazz theory at the guitarist Johan Öijen. Later he studied at the Stockholm music conservatory for sound engineering and music production. In 1999, he played with his brother Kristian at Therion. He plays with his brother and Ricky Evensand ( Soilwork ) in the band Demonoid. Since 2007, Niemann also plays in The Murder of My Sweet and crash the system, since 2010 also in the progressive metal band Evergrey.
