Johann Georg Veit Engelhardt

Johann Georg Veit Engelhardt ( born November 12, 1791 in Dietersheim, † September 13, 1855 in Erlangen, Germany ) was a German Protestant theologian and church historian.

Life

Engelhardt studied theology at the Friedrich -Alexander- University of Erlangen and was a member of the Corps Franconia II

In Erlangen, he was professor of theology in 1821. In 1843 he was made an honorary citizen of the city.
