Johann Michael Feuchtmayer

Johann Michael Feuchtmayer the younger, she also Feuchtmayr and Feichtmair (* 1709 in Haid, at Wessobrunn, † June 4, 1772 in Augsburg, Germany ), son of Michael (* 1667) from the family of artists Feuchtmayer, was a sculptor and plasterer of Wessobrunner school. Often, along with his brother Franz Xaver Feuchtmayer the Elder, but also with Johann Michael Fischer, Johann Joseph Christian and Franz Joseph Spiegler he worked on some of the most important church buildings on the Upper Swabian Baroque Route.

Particularly noteworthy are his works in the Basilica Ottobeuren.
