Johann Nepomuk Ehrlich
Johann Nepomuk Ehrlich ( born February 21, 1810 in Vienna, † October 23, 1864 ) was a Catholic Austrian philosopher and theologian.
Ehrlich enters 1827 with the Piarists. He studied philosophy in Krems 1828-29 and 1829-34 philosophy and theology in Vienna. He was influenced by Günther. In 1834 he was ordained. Since 1836, he taught philosophy, history and literature at a high school in Krems. In 1850 he received his doctorate in Tübingen, then professor of moral theology in Graz. He transferred after two years to Prague as a professor of moral theology. In 1856 he then receives the first Chair of Fundamental Theology.
