Johann Nepomuk Karl, Prince of Liechtenstein

Johann Nepomuk Karl ( * July 8, 1724, † December 22, 1748 in Wischau ) was the youngest and 7th Prince of Liechtenstein from 1732 to 1748.

Johann Nepomuk was only eight years old when his father, Prince Josef Johann Adam von Liechtenstein, died in 1732. Connecting he was under the tutelage of his uncle, Prince Joseph Wenzel of Liechtenstein. This took care of his nephew and prepared it with care prior to the takeover of government business. When John took over the government alone in 1745, it seemed as if the uncle had taught him anything, as Johann Nepomuk Karl fell into Exzentrie and otherwise has seen little economic success.

Despite the obvious inability of the prince, the Board received a royal Hungarian and Bohemian royal chamberlain. The prince died shortly afterwards in 1748 at the age of only 24 years and was the Prince of Liechtenstein with the lowest lifetime. His grave is located in the crypt of the House of Liechtenstein in Vranov u Brna ( Moravia ).

He was married to Maria Josefa von Harrach since 1744, the marriage remained childless.
