Johanna Lüttge
Johanna Lüttge, married Langer, divorced Hübner ( born March 20, 1936 in Gebesee, Thuringia ) is a German track and field athlete, who in the 1950s and 1960s - starting for the GDR - one of the world's best shot putters inside. Her biggest success is the silver medal at the 1960 Olympic Games in Rome, where she took in the joint German team ( 16.21 to 15.59 - 15.74 to 15.20 - 15.40 to 16.61 m).
In 1959 she was the first German to the 16- meter mark surpassed ( 16.12 m on July 4, 1959 in Moscow).
She started - but without medal success - even at the Olympic Games 1956 ( eleventh place, 13.88 m) and 1964 ( ninth, 15.77 m ) and at the European Championships 1958 ( fourth place, 15.19 m) and 1962 ( fourth place, 15.97 m).
Johanna Lüttge had a competition weight of 84 kg at a height of 1.76 m.
