John Alessio
John Paul Alessio ( born July 5, 1979 in Vancouver, British Columbia ) is a Canadian MMA fighter who competes as a welterweight currently. Alessio has fought for many of the major MMA leagues, including Ultimate Fighting Championship, King of the Cage, Pride FC, World Extreme Cage Fighting, Dream and Maximum Fighting Championship.
Biography
The Vancouver-born Alessio moved to Duncan, where it was Freestyle BMX. When he was 19 years old, he decided to try his hand at martial arts. Some time he trained in Duncan under Jason reputation in a Hinterhofgym. Then he moved to California and train Brazilian Jiu -Jitsu in the Shark Tank. With 20 Alessio then made his UFC debut against none other than Pat Miletich, this fight but lost. Alessio then moved to Pride to WEC, KOTC and then back to the UFC. Then he stood at Maximum Fighting Championship under contract.
