John Bock

John Bock ( b. 1965 in Gribbohm, Schleswig -Holstein ) is a German performance artist. He lives in Berlin.

Life and work

Bock studied business in Hamburg before he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Hamburg until 1997. His materials are everyday objects of all kinds, such as slippers, eggshells or men's socks. Since the winter semester 2004/ 05 he teaches at the Academy of Fine Arts in Karlsruhe as Professor for sculpture.
