John Bull (Continental Congress)

John Bull (c. 1740 in Prince William 's Parish, Beaufort County, South Carolina, colony of the Kingdom of Great Britain, now USA, † 1802 in Prince William 's Parish, Beaufort County, South Carolina, United States) was an American statesman and fighter for the American independence, who sat for South Carolina from 1784 to 1787 in the Continental Congress.

He was justice of the peace of Greenville County; 1772 Member of the Provincial Parliament of South Carolina; 1772 also Deputy Provincial Secretary; In 1775 a delegate to the first and the second Provincial Congress in 1776; 1776 member of the first general meeting; worked 1778-1781 and 1784 in the House of Representatives from South Carolina; 1789 and worked in the Senate of South Carolina.
