John Domingue

John Domingue is a British computer scientist. He is a professor at and deputy director of the Knowledge Media Institute at the Open University in Milton Keynes. He is currently President of the International Semantic Technologies Initiative ( STI2 ) in succession by Dieter Fensel.

He explores the applicability of semantic technologies for the automation of the management and development of web services. In the areas of Artificial Intelligence and Web, he has published over 200 articles.

He is scientific director of SOA4All and was involved in many other research projects. Prof. Domingue passes the Steering Committee of the European Semantic Web Conference series and is a member of the Steering Committee of the Future Internet Symposium Series. He coordinates the Working Group Future Internet Service Offer in the Future Internet Assembly. He is also a member of the editorial board of the Journal of Web Semantics.
