John F. Burke

John Francis Burke ( born July 22, 1922 in Peoria, Illinois, † November 2, 2011 in Lexington, Massachusetts) was an American physician.

Life

Burke researched and taught as a professor at Harvard University. He co-developed with Ioannis Yannas the world's first synthetic skin, which is used in fire victims. Burke was married and had two children.
