John Greyson
John Greyson ( born March 13, 1960 in Nelson, British Columbia) is a Canadian film director, screenwriter and film producer.
Life and achievements
His parents called Richard I. and Dorothy F., with birth name Auterson. Greyson grew predominantly in the Canadian city of London, Ontario, on. In the 1970s, he lived briefly in New York. Since 1980, he resides in Toronto and wrote for The Body Politic and other magazines. In 1990 he attended the film school of Norman Jewison, Norman Jewison, the Canadian Film Centre. Detention in Egypt
On August 16, 2013 he was arrested together with Tarek Loubani in Cairo and has since been held without charge or legal representation in custody.
