John Hubert Peschges

John Hubert Peschges ( born May 11, 1881 in West Newton, Minnesota, USA, † October 30, 1944 ) was Bishop of Crookston.

Life

John Hubert Peschges received on 15 April 1905, the sacrament of Holy Orders.

On August 30, 1938, he was named by Pope Pius XI. Bishop of Crookston. The Bishop of Winona, Francis Martin Kelly, gave him on 9 November of the same year the episcopal ordination; Co-consecrators were the Bishop of Saint Cloud, Joseph Francis Busch, and the Bishop of Great Falls, Edwin Vincent O'Hara.
