John I, Count of Nassau-Weilburg

John I (* 1309, † September 20, 1371 in Weilburg ) was from 1355 to 1371, Count of Nassau- Weilburg. He founded the elder branch of Nassau -Weilburg.

Life

John was the second son of Count Gerlach I of Nassau from the walramischen branch and Agnes of Hesse a daughter of Henry I, Landgrave of Hesse.
