John Kapelos
John Kapelos ( born March 8, 1956 in London, Ontario, Canada) is a Canadian-American actor.
Life
The Canadian-born with Greek roots began his career on the stage and was from 1978 to 1982 a member of the famous theater group The Second City in Chicago. Also at the off-Broadway in New York City, he appeared already.
His film career began in 1981 with the film A Single Man. Among his most famous roles include the janitor in the comedy The Breakfast Club (1985 ) and that of Detective Schanke in the television series Forever Knight - The Vampircop (1992-1996).
Other film projects in which he participated, among others, are Nothing in common - you have nothing in common (1986 ), Roxanne ( 1987) and Internal Affairs - maid ' him, he's a Cop ( 1990). There are also a variety of guest appearances in television series such as Desperate Housewives, Queer as Folk, The X-Files, Seinfeld, and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.
