John Lutz

John Thomas Lutz ( born September 11, 1939 in Dallas, Texas) is an American writer.

Reception

In addition to his novels and series Lutz wrote a number of short stories and is a prolific writer. Most of his works he published under his own name; but occasionally he also used the pseudonym Van McCloud.

His best-known protagonists are " Alo Nudger ", a private investigator who determined in St. Louis ( Missouri) and " Fred Carver " is also a private detective from the fictional town of Del Moray (Florida ). Later came the former police officers " Frank Quinn " from the NYPD (New York) to do so. It is worth noting that Lutz in the fourth volume of his Night series introduces his protagonist Frank Quinn and immediately dedicated it also has its own row. For the correct count of the volumes, this means the band Darker then night is the fourth volume in the Night series and also the first band of the Frank Quinn series.
