John Moshoeu

John Moshoeu ( born December 18, 1965 in Soweto, near Johannesburg ) is a former South African football player.

Career

Association

John Moshoeu began his career in 1988 at the Kaizer Chiefs in the Premier Soccer League in South Africa. After the 1992/93 season, he then moved to the Turkish Süper Lig on Gençlerbirliği Ankara. From 1998 to 2000 he played for Fenerbahce Istanbul and from 2000 to 2002 Bursaspor before he again went to the Kaizer Chiefs in the Premier Soccer League in 2002. Moshoeu was also in the 2008/ 09 season in the squad AmaZulu Durban. In spring 2010, signed with Alexandra United FC, which is directed by Brian Baloyi.

National

Moshoeu played between 1997 and 2005 a total of 73 times for the South African national team, scoring eight goals. In the African Cup of 1996, he won with his team the title. He also took part in the FIFA Confederations Cup 1997, at the African Cup of Nations in 1998, at the World Cup 1998, at the African Cup of Nations 2000 and the African Cup of Nations 2004 with the national team.
