John Porter (Pennsylvania politician)

John Porter ( * in Pennsylvania ) was an American politician. Between 1806 and 1811 he represented the State of Pennsylvania in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Career

The source position on this is very poor politician. His date of birth is just as handed down as his birthplace accurate. He was born somewhere in the state of Pennsylvania and received only limited education. Later he became a member of, founded by Thomas Jefferson Democratic- Republican Party. Between 1801 and 1805 he sat in the Senate of Pennsylvania.

Following the resignation of Mr Michael Porter was in the body due election for the third seat of Pennsylvania as his successor in the U.S. House of Representatives in Washington DC chosen, where he took up his new mandate on 8 December 1806. After two re- elections he could remain until March 3, 1811 in Congress. After his time in the U.S. House of Representatives, the trace of John Porter loses again. His date of death and his place of death are unknown.
