John Smith (actor)

John Smith ( born March 3, 1931 in Los Angeles, California; ibid † 25 January 1995, with Robert actually Earl Van Orden ) was an American actor.

For the first time Smith was in 1944 in The Road to Happiness in front of the camera. In the Christmas classic We 're No Angels, he was seen as a ship's doctor on the side of Humphrey Bogart, Peter Ustinov and Aldo Ray. His acting breakthrough he achieved in 1959 as a pilot in Iceland of Lost Women. In the same year he starred alongside Robert Fuller on the television series Laramie, which ran at the foot of the Blue Mountains in Germany under the title until 1963.

John Smith was married from 1960 to 1964 with the U.S. actress Luana Patten, from whom he was divorced.
