John Spencer-Churchill, 11th Duke of Marlborough
John George Vanderbilt Spencer - Churchill, 11th Duke of Marlborough, DL, JP ( born April 13, 1926 in Blenheim Palace at Woodstock ) is a British nobleman and politician ( Member of Parliament in the House of Lords).
Life
Spencer-Churchill was born in 1926 as the eldest son of John Spencer-Churchill, later 10th Duke of Marlborough, and his wife Alexandra Mary Hilda Cadogan. His grandfather was Charles Spencer-Churchill, 9th Duke of Marlborough, his great-uncle of Prime Minister Sir Winston Churchill. In 1972 Spencer-Churchill his father after his death to the rank and the duties of the Duke of Marlborough claimed.
With an estimated fortune of 185 million pounds of Duke is one of the richest people in Britain.
Family
Spencer-Churchill married on October 19, 1951 Susan Mary Hornby. From the marriage, which ended in divorce in 1961, had three children:

- Charles James Spencer - Churchill, Marquess of Blandford ( b. 1955 )
- The Lady Mary Henrietta Spencer - Churchill ( b. 1958 )
His second wife married Spencer-Churchill in 1961 Athina Onassis, the divorced wife of the Greek shipowner Aristotle Onassis and Stavros G. Livanos daughter of the owner, the third wife of the shipowner Stavros Niarchos, mother of Christina Onassis. The marriage lasted until 1971 and remained childless.
From Spencer - Churchill's third marriage with Countess Rosita Douglas, sister of the Swedish entrepreneur Count Gustaf Douglas, which was concluded on 20 May 1972, and went forth three children.

After another divorce in 2008 he married Lily Mahtani born Sahni ( * ca 1957 in Tehran, from an Indian family), divorced wife of operating from Nigeria ethnic Indian entrepreneur Ratan Mahtani United, with whom she has three children.
