John Teller

John Teller (born 9 March 1983) is an American freestyle skier. He specializes in the discipline of ski cross.

Biography

At the start of his racing career was an alpine ski racer plate. From January 1999, he participated in FIS races, starting in February 2002 at Nor- Am Cup. Apart from three wins in FIS races remained of significant success, which is why he played his last Alpine race in April 2006. He kept on practicing his profession as an auto mechanic and liked the freestyle ski cross discipline.

January 19, 2009 debuted plate in Lake Placid Freestyle World Cup, but did not place 53 addition. In the course of his first season he won no World Cup points, nor the beginning of the season 2009/10. His first countable result was a 20th place on January 24, 2010 in Lake Placid. The breakthrough of the world leaders succeeded plate in the season 2010/11. After he became third in San Candido 19 December 2010, he won three weeks later in St. Johann in Tirol. He won the end of January the gold medal at the X Games in Aspen, in early February, he was at the World Cup 2011 fifth.

In winter 2011/12 plate drove in two World Cup races to second place. After a slow start to the season he celebrated his second World Cup victory in Megève on 15 January 2013. At the World Cup 2013 in Voss, he won the bronze medal.
