John Tod

John 's death (* 1779 in Hartford, Connecticut, † March 27, 1830 in Bedford, Pennsylvania) was an American lawyer and politician. Between 1821 and 1823 he represented the State of Pennsylvania in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Career

John 's death attended the common schools and then completed the Yale College. In 1800, he moved to Bedford in Pennsylvania, where he taught as a teacher. After a simultaneous study of law and its 1803 was admitted to a lawyer, he started working in Bedford in this profession. In the years 1806 and 1807, he was employed by the county council in Bedford County. Politically, death joined the Democratic- Republican Party. Between 1810 and 1813 he was a member, and at times President of the House of Pennsylvania. From 1814 to 1816 was one death in the state Senate. Again, he served as president.
