John VII of Werle

Johann VII of Werle [- Güstrow ] (* 1375, † between 14 August 1414 and 17 December 1414) was from 1395 to 1414 to Mr. Werle - Güstrow.

He was the second son of Lorenz and Mechthild ( † before 17 December 1402).

After the death of his father Lorenz in 1393/94 until his brother Balthasar reigned alone, but as of December 11, 1395 Johann ruled together with his brother. As of May 1, 1401, his brother William of Werle was co-regent.

He was married to Catherine of Saxe-Lauenburg, a daughter of Eric IV of Saxe- Lauenburg. She married after his death Johann IV of Mecklenburg.

Children are not aware of it.
