Jon Kwang-ik

Jon Kwang -ik (born 5 April 1988) is a North Korean football player.

Career

Jon has performed internationally as a player of the sports group Amrokgang in appearance, the club of the Ministry of State Security.

In 2005, Jon used mainly on the defensive wings, the U- 17 team as a captain at the U- 17 World Cup in Peru and failed with the team after renewal in the quarter finals to Brazil. In 2006 he won the U -20 team captained by Kim Kum- il, the U-19 Asia Cup. Based on this success in 2007 joined to participate in the U -20 World Cup in Canada. He played during the tournament as a left-back, in a group with the eventual finalists the Czech Republic and Argentina submitted two points but not to progress.

With the North Korean Olympic team (U -23) Jon 2007 failed in the final qualifying round for the 2008 Olympic Games, in 2009, he finished with the Olympic team at the East Asian Games in Hong Kong the fourth.

At its debut in the North Korean national team came in 2007 Jon in the two first-round games of the World Cup qualifiers against Mongolia. In 2008 he took over as a regular player at the AFC Challenge Cup in part, failed with the "B - selection " but by a 0-1 defeat in the semifinals, falling short of the possible qualification for the Asian Cup 2011. 2010 he was at winning the AFC Challenge Cup for contingent, as a reserve player, he came to three inserts. In the final he came on with the score at 0-1, after a few minutes earlier defender Ryang Myong- il was dismissed. The North Korean team managed by Ryang Yong -gi yet the balance and eventually prevailed in a penalty shootout and qualified by this success, but still for the Asia Cup 2011.
