Jonathan Murray

Jonathan Murray ( born 1955 in Missouri) is an American television producer.

Life

Murray attended in his childhood, the Fayetteville - Manlius High School. He graduated from the Missouri School of Journalism, University of Missouri, Columbia.

Together with Mary- Ellis Bunim, he founded the company Bunim / Murray Productions. They designed the television series The Real World for the TV station MTV. The company of Bunim and Murray was a leader on the TV Genre Reality TV. More shows in this genre emerged over the years: Road Rules, Love Cruise, Making the Band, The Real World / Road Rules Challenge and The Real Cancun, Starting Over, as well as for the TV station FOX show The Simple Life. For the television show, The Oxygen The Bad Girls Club was born. Murray lives with his longtime partner Harvey Reese, with whom he educates a son jointly.
