Jonny Lang
Jonny Lang ( born January 29, 1981 in Fargo, North Dakota, actually Jon Gordon Langseth, Jr. ) is an American musician from the area of blues and blues rock that already at an early age by his voice and his skills on the E guitar drew attention to himself.
Biography
Jonny Lang was born on January 29, 1981 in Fargo, North Dakota, United States. At age 12 he got his first guitar and guitar lessons from Ted Larsen, guitarist of the group " Bad Medicine Blues Band ". After a few months he became a member and frontman of the " Bad Medicine Blues Band " which was called from then on "Kid Jonny Lang & the Big Bang ". When he published in 1995 his first album, he was only 14 years old, you could but see neither his voice nor his guitar to play - long sounded at that same time as some 30 years old bluesmen. Through his works Lang was already well known in the blues scene, so he got a appearance in the film Blues Brothers 2000. He played there side by side with the likes of BB King. Jonny Lang accompanied in the following years, Aerosmith, The Rolling Stones, BB King, Blues Traveler on tour and in 1999 played before President Clinton and his wife during an audience at the White House. At 19, Jonny Lang for the album Walking This World was nominated for a Grammy.
Since the age of 20, he is married with Haylie (born 29 January 1980). They can be seen in the music video for his song Missing Your Love.
