Jonquière Condors
The Condors de Jonquière (English Jonquiere Condors ) was a Canadian ice hockey team from Jonquière, Quebec. The team played from 1997 to 2002 in the Quebec Semi-Pro Hockey League.
History
The team was founded in 1997 as a franchise of the Quebec Semi-Pro Hockey League. In this they showed in the five years of its existence on a rather average balance by concluding their division between number three and five, and in the 2001/ 02 season and got to number eight. Their greatest success was reaching the second playoff round to the Futura Coupe in the 2000 /01 season. The cup itself could never win the Condors.
Following the 2001/ 02 season, the franchise was relocated to Saguenay, where, under the name Paramédic du Saguenay (later Fjord du Saguenay ) participated in the following years, the game operation of the league.
