Cornwall River Kings

The Cornwall River Kings (French River Kings de Cornwall) are a Canadian ice hockey franchise from Cornwall in the province of Ontario. The team plays since its relocation from Windsor in 2012 in the Ligue Nord - Americaine de Hockey.

History

Opened in 2011, the Wild de Windsor emerged after relocation of the franchise from Sherbrooke and stood 2012 in the final of the Coupe Canam where they though the Isothermic de Thetford Mines documents. However, after it was announced that the franchise had generated a loss of 100,000 Canadian dollars in one season, the sale of the franchise to Cornwall in the province of Ontario was announced in April 2012. The RiverKings are thus the only team in the league that is not located in the province of Quebec.
