Jordana Beatty
Jordana Beatty ( born January 30, 1998, Sydney ) is an Australian actress who became known for their main as well as title role in Judy Moody and the Not Bummer Summer notoriety.
Life and career
Jordana Beatty was born in 1998 as daughter of Alexandra, a former child actress, who now works as a lawyer for Honda, and Zac, a bartender in a nightclub in Australia's largest city. When she still children attended the musical Mary Poppins, she decided to become an actress herself and started her career in several commercials on Australian television, where she had her first mission as a four- year-old.
Her first notable appearances in film and television business, it came in the role of Lucy Stevens in the longstanding Australian hit series All Saints, where she was seen in her recurring role in six different consequences. Only a year later, in 2006, she came to a guest appearance in Superman Returns, a U.S. production. Then it was quiet largely to the young actress, who only returned in 2009 back to the screen where it recurring character Rachel in the U.S. series Legend of the Seeker - represented Sword of Truth.
In 2010 she was finally cast in the title and main role of Judy Moody published in the 2011 movie Judy Moody and the Not Bummer Summer. This brought her next to worldwide fame an even fame. So it was at the award ceremony of the Young Artist Awards in 2012 along with her castmates Parris Mosteller, Preston Bailey, Jackson Odell, Taylar Hender, Ashley Boettcher, Garrett Ryan and Cameron Boyce with a Young Artist Award in the category "Best Performance in a Feature Film - Young Ensemble Cast "award. In addition to this award, it was also for a Young Artist Award in the category "Best Performance in a Feature Film - Leading Young Actress" nomination, however the price for her performance in Hugo Cabret could not prevail against Chloe Grace Moretz thereby, who accepted.
Is already in pre-production, another film in which Jordana Beatty will be on display in the main as well as title role. In Eloise in Paris, after the famous book series Eloise by Kay Thompson and the illustrations by Hilary Knight, she was awarded the title role of Eloise and will be seen in this next fellow actors like Uma Thurman, Billi Bruno and Nicky Jones. Initial plans and the commitment of Uma Thurman have already been announced in 2007, Beatty's participation in production was also announced in May 2008. A tentative release date has not yet been announced.
