Preston Bailey
Preston Bailey ( born July 25, 2000, Portland, Oregon ) is an American actor.
Life
Preston Bailey was born in Portland, Oregon, and moved to California with his family at the age of five years. His brother is the actor Brennan Bailey. Bailey had already begun two years ago to play in commercials, including for Juicy Juice, Stouffer's, BMW and Mucinex.
In 2005, he began his career in television with a guest appearance in the series Strong Medicine: like fire and ice. This was followed by small roles in television series such as Criminal Minds (2006), How I Met Your Mother and Numb3rs - The logic of the crime (both 2007). He then took over the role of Cody Bennett, the son of Rita Bennett (Julie Benz), in the Showtime series Dexter. He replaced Daniel Goldman, who has held this role in the first season and played it until the end of the fifth season. He became known to a wider audience through this role and got it for 2009 and 2010 nominations at the Screen Actors Guild Awards and the Young Artist Awards.
In addition, Bailey was in the horror movies Amusement (2009), Children of the Corn (2009) and The Crazies - see Fear thy neighbor (2010).
