Jordbro

Jordbro is a locality ( Tätort ) in the Swedish municipality of Haninge in Stockholm County on the Södertörn peninsula. 2007, Jordbro about 9700 inhabitants.

The town was one of the many construction projects during the Swedish million program. Near the station are residential areas from the 1960s or 1970s, and outside the center younger detached houses. The railway line ( Nynäsbanan ) separates the city into two halves.

The industry is concentrated in a large industrial park in the west. Here warehouses and farms of different sizes are located. Among other things, the Swedish headquarters and a bottling plant of Coca -Cola as well as sales centers of Osram and Åhléns located in the park.

The surroundings of Jordbro is dominated by the forest Hanveden in the West. In the south, the burial ground of Jordbro lies with graves, most of which are dated to the period between 500 BC and 500 AD. East leads the motorway-like Reichsweg 73 at the place over and in the north includes separated by a forest and a road the place hands on.

The director Rainer Hartleb has captured the lives of various residents of Jordbro in several documentaries. He began in 1973 with the strip Från en barndomsvärld ( "From a childhood world " ) and now has the seventh film Alla Mar bra ( " Allen is doing well " ) completed. For the film En pizza i Jordbro ( " A Pizza In Jordbro " ) of 1994, he was awarded the Swedish Film Award Guldbagge.
