Jorge Mistral
Jorge Mistral (actually Modesto Llosas Rosell, * November 24, 1920 in Aldaya, Valencia, † 20 April 1972 Mexico City) was a Spanish actor and film director.
Life
His childhood spent Mistral in Puerto Rico, the home of his father; age of 14 he returned to his country of birth. First, he pursued a career as a lawyer, he broke off due to the Spanish Bürgerlrieges. He then began a career on the stage and received quickly rolls of film; his first in 1944 in La llamada de la mar. He stood for a while with the production company CIFESA under contract and undertook in 1949 a Latin American tour, where he recorded successes particularly in Mexico, where he was also rotate a number of films in the coming years. In 1964 he again went to Puerto Rico, where he directed three films and performed for television. Later he moved again center of his life and spent the last years of his life before his suicide in Mexico, where he held also theater performances and variety shows commitment in addition to films and television roles.
