Joris Van Hout

Joris Van Hout ( born January 10, 1977 in Mol ) is a Belgian footballer.

Van Hout began his career at Belgian club Dessel Sport, before he went to KV Mechelen and shortly thereafter began his professional career. In 2001 he undertook the Belgian giants RSC Anderlecht, where he moved more into the spotlight. For the 2002/2003 season, he moved for a transfer fee of around 500,000 euros for Borussia Mönchengladbach. There he graduated from 69 Bundesliga matches and scored eleven goals. After he saw himself exposed in Gladbach attack big competition in 2005, he joined the Bundesliga relegation VfL Bochum, where he contributed six goals in 25 games for direct re-emergence. However, in the season 2006/ 07 he came for VfL only 14 short sessions, in which he scored no hits. For the season 2007/ 08 he joined the Belgian Erstdivisionär KVC Westerlo, where he signed a four year contract.

In its early days Gladbach on 16 October 2002 van Hout graduated one match for the Belgian national football team.
