The José Cabrera nuclear power plant is a Spanish nuclear power plant. It is located in central Spain in Guadalajara and consists of a pressurized water reactor.

The reactor is an American Westinghouse reactor with a net electrical output of 141 MW and a gross capacity of 150 MW. Construction of the reactor was on 24 June 1964., After four years of construction, the reactor was on June 30, 1968 for the first time critical, first synchronized on July 14, 1968, the power supply and took on 13 August 1969 as the first commercial nuclear power plant in Spain power operation.

After 38 years of operation, the reactor was finally shut down on 30 April 2006. The dismantling of the plant is carried out by the ENRESA from 2009; likely he will cost 135 million euros.
