The nuclear power plant Valdecaballeros (Spanish Val de caballeros - German Valley of men) should arise in Valdecaballeros in the province of Badajoz, Spain and consist of two power plant units with boiling water reactor from General Electric. With the construction of the two reactors was started on 17 August 1979. 1983 the project was discontinued due to a decision by the new government. In the final cessation of the construction project in 1994, the first block to 70% and the second block was completed to 60%. The operator Endesa received compensation.
