José do Patrocínio

José Carlos do Patrocínio ( born October 8, 1854 in Campos, in today's State of Rio de Janeiro, † January 30, 1905 in Rio de Janeiro) was a Brazilian journalist, writer, publisher, and political activist.

Life

Visually recognizable as a person with colored ancestors, he was driven by his writings abolutionistischen an outstanding figure in the anti - slavery movement from Brazil in 1879.
