José Efromovich

José Efromovich (* 1955 in La Paz, Bolivia ) is a Brazilian businessman of Polish-Jewish descent. He is president of the Brazilian airline Avianca Brazil and the Supervisory Board of AviancaTaca Holding.

Life

His family is originally from Poland. Looking for a new home, the parents left after the Second World War Poland to South America, first to Bolivia, then to Chile, where José Efromovich was from 1955, first raised in Arica and from 1964 in São Paulo, Brazil.
