AviancaTaca is a Colombian- Salvadoran Holding, under whose umbrella the two airlines Avianca from Colombia and TACA of El Salvador and eight other smaller airlines are members.

The company was founded in February 2010, its headquarters are in Bogotá, the Brazilian- Colombian businessman Germán Efromovich is president and CEO.

AviancaTaca is the third largest airline by revenue - holding company in Latin America, after Brazil and LATAM Airlines Group Chilean and Brazilian budget airline Gol Transportes Aéreos. With a fleet of over 170 aircraft and a passenger volume of 18 million passengers (2010) it is the second largest in South America.
