José Gálvez Estévez

José Gálvez Estévez ( born August 3, 1974 in Palma de Mallorca ) is a former Spanish footballer.

Career

Association

Gálvez played in his youth for RCD Mallorca. In the 1991/92 season under coach Llorenç Serra he gave Ferrer age of 17 became the youngest player in the club's debut in the pros. This was followed by 22 league inserts and 3 goals and the descent into the Segunda División.

After a solid second division season 1992/93 Mallorca failed only in the relegation matches the immediate resurgence. Gálvez even reach 15 results. Subsequently, he was courted by some first division and joined the season 1993/94 to FC Valencia.

With Valencia Gálvez first played in the UEFA Cup. Overall, however, the Spaniard was at his new club in the next two years, only 16 times in the starting lineup. Due to an injury Gálvez missed a part in the Summer Olympic Games in 1996. Then he could not go on from his previous performance even at Valencia. In the 1996/97 season he lost his place and returned to winter break back on loan to second division side RCD Mallorca. Here he soon reached the summit in the Primera División. Then the loan agreement with Gálvez was extended for another year. But even in Mallorca, the Spaniard could not play in the trunk of the team now on.

In 1998 Gálvez to the first division Betis Sevilla. With the Andalusians he dismounted and again. Due to lack of matches he moved again in 2001 on loan to second division side FC Burgos, with whom he immediately División in the Segunda B descent. Then decided Gálvez to end his professional career at age 27. At amateur level, he played a year for clubs in his home region.

Gálvez went through the youth national teams of Spain. With the U- 17 team, he participated in the World Cup in 1991 and was runner-up.
