José Guadalupe Cruz (manager)

José Guadalupe Cruz ( born November 22, 1967 in Acopeo, Michoacán ) is a former Mexican football player at the position of the defender of a career started as a coach after his playing career.

Life

Player

With the exception of season 1990 /91 in Cruz on loan at the Querétaro Fútbol Club was active, he was throughout his sporting career at the Club de Fútbol Atlante under contract, with whom he won the Mexican championship in the 1992/93 season.

Coach

Even as a coach, he was true to his longtime club Atlante connected, where he began his coaching career in the 2004/05 season and with whom he celebrated his greatest successes on the outside line. In the Apertura 2007, the preliminary round of the 2007/08 season, he led the Potros to the first championship in its new location Cancún and the following season to win the CONCACAF Champions League 2008 /09 by a final victory against former city rivals Cruz Azul from Mexico city.
